Nic Tyson
Adviser/Director
Nic Tyson is the Director of The Advisers and works with a vibrant and long-standing team of professionals where our goal is to make sure we are there for our clients when things go wrong.
Before taking on the mantle as Director, Nic worked within the business helping lead our point of difference which is the caring and strong relationships with all of our clients. He has a strong background in the Insurance field having previously worked for a corporate insurance brokering firm, he was a trained Accountant and now drives the business forward in its continued success and growth.
Nic is a Chartered Insurance Broker and lives locally with his wife and two young children. With a wide range of interests, he enjoys coffee, entrepreneurship and a swim in the sea.

Jacinda has been passionately helping clients with their insurance needs, from home and contents to business requirements and life, Health and income covers.
Working with The Advisers team allows Jacinda to personalise her client’s insurance journey from the very first meeting. She understands the importance of work/life balance and the need to protect what’s most important to us. Mike Weren
Adviser
Mike has been in the financial services industry since 1978. Initially he worked in Rural and Commercial banking in various places throughout the North Island
In 1999 Mike progressed to the insurance industry. Working with The Advisers sees him looking after people and their businesses throughout the country but primarily in Central Taranaki. Mike is in the business of helping customers achieve their financial goals and protect their valuable assets, by offering advice that takes into account their individual situation. Mike is married and has two adult children. He is involved in local community organisations, namely Rotokare Scenic Reserve Trust, Eltham Lions and South Taranaki Underwater Club. Mike enjoys fishing, diving, travel and motorcycle riding.

She has extensive knowledge from working within the insurance industry since 2010 and has a work ethic that is second to none. She is committed to building long-standing relationships, providing the right advice, and making sure the policy you take is exactly what you need.
When not working Jane is a parent to two daughters, she enjoys getting out walking, watching kids’ netball and hanging out with her husband.
